that race in these circuits are the company's contribute to the
development of many high performance cars both before & after
market. Featured below are a few of the top competitors & links to
those who have websites. Many of these are in Japanese, but

accomplished in New Zealand. (Under 5000cc Class) This fully worked R34
hit a top speed of 346.20km/h on the open road just out of Rotorua here
in Kiwiland. 7 of Japan's fastest street cars met on the weekend of 5-7
November 1999 for an open challenge and the Veilside R34 ate the
competition. This consisted of RX7, Supra, WRX, MX5, EVO and Aristo.

2.7kg boost. This R34 also features an HKS Vein Pressure Controller
(VPC) and an HKS EVC (Electronic Valve Controller)
|
Veilside

272.16km/h, with a dragstrip time of a mere 8 seconds. This record was
achieved in the kitted R32 pictured on the left. The veilside tuning
house is well known for their design prowess. This Gun Metal Grey R32

Blitz Project R348
BLITZ
know how to explore the potential in the GTR, and have proved it with
their latest monster, the R34 Project 348, where they took a road legal
modified GTR up to 215 mph on a German Autobahn using parts straight
from their catalogue. On the day the car ran, it used 2.3 bar boost
(34PSi) and ran 890 BHP... The 890 BHP engine uses a single KKK
turbo charger, 6 x 1000cc injectors, uprated intercooler, induction
kit, Nur Spec 'R' exhaust, DSBC boost control, Multi Speed Turbo Timer,
Uprated pistons, High performance camshafts, uprated suspension, Blitz
Aero bodykit, oil cooler, uprated clutch, Blitz Technospeed Z1 18 inch
rims, Brembo 6 pot brakes, and Access ECU upgrade.
|
All these parts are made by Blitz or made exclusively for Blitz and are available for purchase.
The
R34 uses the latest colour Technospeed Z1 rim from Blitz. This unique
design of split rim is in a metallic grey/silver colour, and has fine
details such as individual gold studs, and a smart Blitz logo centre in
matching gold. The R348 yielded 343KPH which is not enough to
break the world record set by the Veilside R34 in Rotorua (New
Zealand), but it's still an incredible speed, and it is highly likely
that Blitz will continue to strive to beat this awesome record. Visit the Blitz website at http://www.blitz.co.jp or English site at http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk

Tommy Kaira
Tommy
Kaira is a master tuner of Nissan/Subaru vehicles. Its newest work of
art is the highly tuned "Tommy Kaira R" version of the already-wild R34
Skyline GT-R. It has a much-needed revised nose/grille, deep airdam,
275/30 ZR19 tires and 19-inch gold alloys. Not to mention that wild
black rear spoiler that looks like it came from a Formula One racecar.
Of course, all this trim would only be for show if not for the
heavily-massaged engine. From the original stated-280 ps, it has been
upped to 370ps. There is also an even better R-S trim level which
produces 425ps. http://www.tommykaira.com
