The Skylines Downunder website has been given a new engine. On the
surface everything looks the same but the backend has been changed to
allow specific members to add content. This means the website will be
updated regularly and events will posted here as they come to hand.
Yes, it has been a long time in the making but finally I have rebuilt
the site in a manner which will allow graduated rights for multiple
users. This means that the site will be kept up by specific members of
the SDU community without relying on one person to manage everything.
It has been seven years I orignally created SDU and in the last couple
of years have gotten married, had a baby (well my wife did), changed
careers twice, moved cities twice and am settled now. Finally, I am
settled in a job I enjoy in a town I love living in which is great for
my family. My urgency here comes with the pending birth of our son who
should be born within the next three weeks. I figure if I don't get
this sorted now it may never happen :)
Anyway, let's see how we go. I am hoping this'll allow SDU a rebirth of sorts.
